VSM Announces Partnership with Labcorp for Sunflower ACO


We are pleased to announce that Labcorp has been designated a Preferred Provider for the Sunflower ACO network. As part of our agreement, Labcorp will provide Sunflower and our participating practices with laboratory result data, connectivity tools and support for care management initiatives. Labcorp’s leading laboratory infrastructure, along with its ability to integrate data inside and outside of our network, is expected to help us manage our patient population while optimizing performance goals.  

 

In addition to a full-service offering and more than 6,500 diagnostic tests, Labcorp enables patient care management through:  

 

  • Lab Data Feed — Patient results data fed directly into our analytics tools to support quality measure reporting, gaps in care analysis, and visibility to patient labs inside and outside of our network. 

  • Labcorp Insight Analytics® — Lab-enabled population health dashboards help identify rising risk patients, gaps in care, and optimize use of laboratory testing. Access is available for all participating providers.  

  • Care Gap Closure Programs — Allows us to identify and close lab-based care gaps that support quality measure requirements while limiting impact on our participating providers.  

  • Provider Connectivity — Direct EHR interfacing for lab orders, global patient results access, as well as a mobile-friendly Link Provider Portal.  

  • Ease of Patient Access — Extensive payer coverage, nationwide network of more than 2,200 service centers, online appointment scheduling, as well as Patient Portal results access.  

 

Labcorp shares Sunflower’s commitment to improving health outcomes and lowering care expenditures for our beneficiaries. Sunflower encourages its member practices to take advantage of the testing and services offered by Labcorp. During the next few weeks, a Labcorp representative will be in contact with your office to discuss service options and other value based care support programs that are available to you as part of the Sunflower network.
